At Golden Girls, we offer a variety of activities that foster community, joy, and personal growth for our residents. Whether they’re nurturing plants in our gardens, creating art, or enjoying social events, each activity is designed to engage their minds, bodies, and spirits. Our goal is to ensure every resident feels connected, active, and truly at home.

Activities

Gardening

We have 4 raised garden beds making it easy for residents to get their hands dirty and participate in a favorite springtime activity. Volunteers will be available to assist with planting seeds, sprouts, flowers or vegetables. Residents will be able to care for them throughout the season and even bring them indoors to enjoy!

Cutting Gardens - We have several areas devoted to wildflowers where residents can cut fresh flowers for display in the house or their bedroom.

Paint Night

Painting an original piece of artwork. Volunteers will be available to assist anyone who needs help. Artwork will be displayed inside the home.

Senior Pen/Phone Pals
